Getting Started

1. Connect your library (pick any)

NAS / file server (SMB) — sidebar → *Add network source* → SMB. Enter the

host/IP, share name, and username, then *Test & Add*. You'll be asked for the

password once; it's saved securely to the Keychain.

WebDAV — same sheet, switch the selector to WebDAV and paste the base URL

(e.g. https://nas:5006/media).

Files on this Vision Pro — sidebar → *Add local files* to pick from the

Files app, or just drop media into Files → Prism → Media and it appears

under *On this Vision Pro* automatically.

A direct link — sidebar → *Stream from URL* (mp4, mov, or HLS .m3u8).

2. Play something

Tap any card. 180°/360° content opens fully immersive; flat video and photos

open in a window. Untagged videos default to 180° · side-by-side (change

this in Settings), filename tags like 360, sbs, _ou, fisheye are

detected automatically, and you can override any file from the bar's format

menu — Prism remembers per video.

3. The control bar

Transport, scrubber, format menu, the eye button (comfort), playback

speed, subtitles (when the file has them), the ⬇ buffer button, and a

chevron to hide the bar (a small ⬆ pill brings it back). Open the grid icon

for the browse drawer to switch videos without leaving immersion.

4. Comfort — fixing ghosting and framing

Open the eye popover:

5. Hand gestures (immersive)

6. Watch offline

Long-press any video → Cache on device (or use Select ✓ in the toolbar to

flag many at once). Downloads queue with progress badges; Settings → Local

cache shows live progress with time remaining. Playback automatically uses

the local copy — filter the library by the built-in Cached tag to see

everything available offline. Cache size is adjustable from 20–200 GB.

7. Organize

Define tags in Settings → Tags, assign them from a long-press (Favourite is

built in), then filter from the Tags menu in the sidebar with Any/All

matching. The search box covers the current folder and everything inside it;

flip on Search all sources to hunt across every server at once.

8. Optional power-ups
